Bulelwa Mkutukana Known as " Zahara" born the 9th November 1987 (age 25) , from Phumlani informal settlement outside of East London in the Eastern Cape , South Africa where she lived with her parents Nokhaya and Mlami Mkutukana .
She is the sixth of seven children . She displayed alove singing from the age of 6 years . Zahara joined her senior chior because of her strong voice .Zahara a afro-soul singer who sings in xhosa and English therefore her name Zahara means "Shining flower".
Zahara released her debut album "Loliwe" in 2011 proved to be a big success as it went platium in 13 days and went double platium after just 17 days selling over 100,000 copies in SA and also duet with American singer Leroy Bell support by the soweto gospel choir and also won SA Music Awards and 7awards including best female artist and album of the year and her last song was "LOLIWE" and we went CRAZYYYYYY!!
